Measuring
Irregular, trapezium and notched bay windows
Most of the baywindow seats we make are not rectangles. Hong Kong window sills often taper, cut on the diagonal, or step around a wall. That is normal — and there is no extra charge for shape.
- Maximum length × maximum width is enough for a first quote.
- For an irregular, trapezium or notched seat, draw a basic outline and label every side length. Upload that sketch (photo, screenshot or CAD) with your quote.
- Notches, diagonal cuts, and different top and bottom widths are everyday work for us — include those lengths, not just the overall rectangle.
- Any size or shape is welcome. We do not add a surcharge because the plan is a trapezium.
Handmade pieces carry a ±2 cm tolerance. Returns and remakes inside that range are not accepted — see Terms
Customer-style dimension sketches
These drawings show the level of detail we need: every outer side, plus offsets for angles and notches. Paper, phone photos and CAD are all fine.
